With little ones joining a family session we definitely need to have in mind their sleep patterns, nap times and a feed time. Having kiddos myself I remember too well how the smallest change in their routine can throw them off.
When this momma reached out to me about their family portraits, we discussed all of those things as well as a favorite song for their precious girl. a way they play with her or an animal sounds that might be getting her attention. Trust me, I will moo if that’s the way to make them laugh. Being silly and patient at the same time is a part of the family session with kids. Looking back at these images I can assure you we laughed hard and played around a lot. To be honest, sometimes it makes me feel like a child myself, which is probably why I cherish these frozen moments in time even more.
