I couldn’t wait to share with you this pregnancy session at this Atlantic Beach location. You probably know too well that I love photographing my moms to be and families at the beaches of Jacksonville and around. I didn’t know how much I would appreciate the place we live in when I first moved in to Jacksonville about 20 years ago. It’s hard to believe it’s been so long! Over the years of serving families and moms of Jacksonville, I came to long for sand under my toes, and each time I walk at the beach with my clients the sense of comfort sinks in. How blessed I am to have these places as my job locations! How blessed I am to cherish these places with you as I capture your love and anticipation of the future. This gets me every time…
We have been in the same location with these two darlings before. It was their engagement session just a couple of years ago, but it still feels like yesterday. I guess happiness makes life pass by fast and each day feels just like another promise of tomorrow. Just a couple years ago they celebrated their love with their engagement and wedding. A decade ago they gave each other a chance to simply spend time together. Who knew that now they will be waiting on their first child?
Their story (that I’ve learned during our consultation) is such an evidence that persistence is key, LOL. Thank goodness that this boy made his mind up and didn’t give up on his teen crush…
