home newborn family session | Ponte Vedra baby photographer

I could have look at this sleeping baby boy forever. Calmly sleeping and dreaming in comfort of his mom’s arms.

Watching a baby and his family adjusting to his new home is quite spectacular, especially that not long before that I had a Maternity Session with his mom! New family has started. Everything is so new, exciting and maybe even a little overwhelming, especially with so much of outpouring love.

There isn’t more comfortable place for a newborn session than his home. That’s why I recommend at home newborn sessions.

Mom can breastfeed in peace in her favorite chair, warm air surrounds us, which allows this baby sleep so beautifully and dad is always there to help and be a part of this wonderful session.

This, week old precious boy slept pretty much through the entire session. Of course swaddling and rocking him was a one of the reason why he was so content, but I have to submit, that , on top of sweet newborn photos, putting babies back to sleep is the thing I love the most!

First 48 hours newborn session | Jacksonville Beach baby photographer

Did you ever have that gut feeling that you will be a part of something purely wonderful???

I did.

We waited less or more patiently for this little fellow. He had so many people cheering for him and loving him with all their hearts even before he was born.

I drove to St. Vincent’s Jacksonville Beach hospital to capture First 48 hours session with such excitement and joy. When the door from the hospital suite opened you could feel happiness floating in the air… I felt immediately like a part of the family. NO WORDS TO EXPRESS IT.

Needlessly said, I just became a part of this miracle called “new life” with a camera by my side, documenting every emotional moment I could imagine and believe me… THERE WERE SO MANY OF THEM!

To see grandmothers surrounding him with such care, to see parents thankfully hugging a doctor and then looking at this little human with disbelieve that THEY actually created this truly amazing baby… it’s breathtaking.

It makes my cheeks hurt, brings butterflies to my stomach and tears to my eyes…

First 48hours session demands me being on-call for at least a couple weeks, but oh my goodness!!!! It couldn’t be any more worth the wait!

Hello little fellow… I can’t wait to see all the wonderful things you will do!

Newborn Session at his new home, Nocatee | Jacksonville newborn photographer

At home Newborn Sessions are always such a grounding experience for me.

I was able to photograph this new baby boy and his amazing parents for the 2nd time, after having Maternity Session with his parents.

I think that is the reason why I love my Maternity+Newborn package so much! It allows me to connect with my clients on even deeper level and allow them get truly comfortable with them.

During the newborn session they will see me rocking their precious baby to sleep, calming down and often taking over baby duty, so they can take a breath while I take baby pictures. That’s one of the reasons why newborn sessions takes 3-4 hours. We are on the baby schedule of course!

This baby boy though was one of the calmest babies I had! He was sleeping so long and we adored watching him having his own baby dreams!

Dogs didn’t bother him, moving him from a bed to mom’s or dad’s arms didn’t interrupt him at all! One feeding in between and his was back to sleep.

What a beautiful daydreamer!
