Learn what to expect when choosing me as your photographer
you may be wondering
Why choose me as your photographer?
Emotive photography. That’s what I long for the most.
I specialize in heartwarming newborn baby and maternity sessions as well as children and family sessions that capture the most natural, emotive parts of your relationship and personality.
My goal is to deliver photos that will pull your heartstrings and will make you come back to that picture frame to look at that moment over and over again.
In my hallway, there’s a gallery of family photos I’ve taken over the years. There isn’t a day I walk up the stairs—usually to call everyone down for dinner—when I don’t stop and just stare at them.
These photos have given me strength through some of the hardest moments. They’ve given me patience when I felt overwhelmed with mom duties. They’ve reminded me of how far we’ve come, how much we’ve grown, and how we’ve learned to love even more—every single day.
In these photos, we’re not always looking at the camera. We’re not perfectly posed or lined up. Sometimes the kids are mid-tantrum, mid-dance, or mid-run. But these photos captured our life exactly as it is.
My son, in his “marry me” phase, kissing my hand. My daughter, wild and center stage, mouth stained from strawberries, dancing like no one’s watching. Each of them in their own stage of life, their own moment.
This wall tells our story. And I treasure every piece of it.
I want to capture the glory of your family, of your children, of your amazing moment that will never repeat itself in the same way. Purest emotions and soulfulness are what I look for in the moment, as I watch you through my camera viewfinder. A kind of fine art that we both make together.
Your session with me is a result of not only my talent but also an effort to understand what matters to you, an effort to have that knowledge BEFORE the session. Your session is never a random beach, park, field, street, or home location… no matter where, it is based on your story and your priorities.
My clients look for a photographer they can connect with, for exceptional images that will reflect them in the most honest and beautiful way, and I put a piece of myself in every client gallery to ensure just that!
Please take a look at my blog and portfolio of pregnancy, newborn, child, family photography, and contact me if you would like to choose me as your photographer!

Your Questions Answered
When should I book my session?
Since the number of sessions I book monthly is limited, I recommend that you book your session far in advance. If you are looking to book Newborn Session, please think about booking around 3 months prior to your due date to ensure your spot with me. After your session is booked, I will stay in touch with you and reserve an approximate time frame for our shoot. Once you deliver your precious baby, we will meet to photograph him or her in the first 2 weeks after birth.
How does the booking process look?
The booking process is simple and painless. After we have chatted and you decide to go ahead and book your session, I will send you a contract, invoice and questionnaire. After the contract is signed, you will be invoiced for the deposit. I require a 50% non-refundable deposit to book your session.
The remainder of the session fee is due the day of your session.
How are images delivered?
I use an online gallery to deliver your photos. The images are high resolution and the gallery requires a password. You will receive an invitation to the gallery and will be prompted to download the images to your computer. Once on your computer, you can print as you
What should we expect from newborn session?
Unless you ask about an outdoor session, I do all my newborn sessions in the comfort of your home. I bring everything I need to photograph your precious cargo, and after we set the date, I will give you more information on how to prepare yourself for the session. So, for now, enjoy your pregnancy and don’t worry about anything else. I’m here to answer any of your questions!
Can we included siblings in a newborn session?
YES! I love to add a lifestyle touch to our newborn session and photograph not only a baby, but also his parents and siblings in those first new weeks of baby’s life. I will make sure it is as natural as it can be. Just hug your beautiful baby, and I will be there to capture this moment.
What are children sessions like?
After we arrive to our chosen location, we will start your session with a small suggestion of activities to relax a little and start things going. After that we will just enjoy our time creating your memories. No rush, just flow with it. I want to capture natural expression and interaction, no props needed.
What if it’s raining?
If it is pouring out, we would have to reschedule. If we planned a natural light indoor session, and it is too gray out, we will decide on it together. Don’t worry about a little drizzle. It can stop at any time. I will be watching the weather and have your best interests in mind.
Do you travel for session?
YES! I travel often for sessions and absolutely love capturing your family in meaningful locations! If that means that I pack my bags and come to you, then it will be my pleasure to do so! Travel fees are extra but hey, get a couple of friends to book sessions, too, and you can split the travel fees!
What if my kids won’t stay still?
Try not to stress about their behavior. As soon as they warm up to me, I will be able to capture their true selves.
We want to capture them as they are and I ran fast LOL
What time do we need to schedule our session?
It depends on the session. Newborn sessions are scheduled Monday – Friday during the morning, usually around 10AM, to optimize on the best light. Depending on your schedule we can push it back an hour or two. Most outdoor maternity, family, couple etc sessions are mostly scheduled for sunset time to get beautiful soft light, or a sunrise if you a morning person. If we decided to shoot in shaded area we don’t have to worry about bright sun and we have a little more flexibility.
How many images will I get back?
Depending on your session package, you will get 10-30 high resolution images, unless upgraded to the whole gallery. Then expect so… so many more. Overdeliver and my clients love it! At least 100 images are promised in your online gallery to view!
What is a difference between copyrights vs printing right?
All my sessions include full printing rights to your images which means that you print them as many times as you want, as large as you want and give them to whoever you want as long as you don’t sell them. Photographers retain the copyrights to their images so they can use them for their portfolio, promotional purposes, social media, etc.

I am here for you
Before I’m your photographer, I’m a human too, carrying my own tender stories, longings, and lessons.
I’ve learned that everyone you meet has a quiet ache they’re holding, a hope they’re nurturing, or a memory that still stirs tears. Maybe that’s why I’m drawn to photographing connections the way I am.
Beneath it all, I’m someone who’s still learning to let go of shame, to see scars (the ones on my skin and in my heart) as stories instead of flaws. I crave honesty more than perfection, and I promise to hold your family’s story with that same tender care.
So if you’re looking for someone who sees beyond posed smiles, someone who will notice the small, beautiful truths of who you are right now, I’d love to connect.
