Be seen, understood and cherished in the middle of the mess and magic of life.

As a Jacksonville newborn photographer, I specialize in capturing the fleeting moments of early life with authenticity and grace. My approach is grounded in faith, fueled by heart, and deeply devoted to preserving the kind of love that can’t be posed.
Photography held me both through motherhood and during a time when I was navigating both the joy and the ache of loving deeply. I am deeply devoted to giving back to other families with emotive and soulful images that stand the test of time.
Leave with soulful captures reflecting this beautiful chapter of parenthood.

“Art is not always about pretty things,
it’s about who we are.”
“Should I clean up my whole house? Where will we take these photos?”
How Should I Prepare for My Newborn Photography Session in Jacksonville?
We’ll go at your baby’s pace, and yours. There’s no rush, no pressure. Just presence, softness, and story.
I highly recommend doing your session at home, I absolutely love the personal, cozy magic that in-home sessions offer!
During our client consultation we will go over areas of the house you prefer. I will gently guide us to the spots in your home with the best natural light, it may be your bedroom, baby nursery or a living room space.
All we truly need is one source of natural light to make magic happen.
To create a relaxed and enjoyable experience (instead of running around frantically and cleaning up like you’re hosting an event), here’s what you can do:
- Feed your baby about two hours before the session and then again on arrival to encourage sleepiness.
- Keep your baby awake for a short period before the session to help them sleep more soundly during the shoot.
- Loosen the diaper an hour before the session to avoid marks on the baby’s skin.
- Have essentials ready like extra diapers, wipes, a pacifier just in case, and a change of clothes for both baby and mom or both parents.
- If the umbilical cord hasn’t fallen out, a sponge bath or a bath in the morning might help keep the baby relaxed during the session.
- Keep your house warm. If possible set your thermostat to 75 degrees to ensure comfort when we undress and wrap your baby.

My Approach for Photos That Reflect The Real & The Now
I’m here to capture the honest, tender pieces of your family’s story: the quiet yawns, the little stretches, the way your baby fits perfectly in your arms, your first weeks as a new family.
When you book with me, I will send a little questionnaire to get to know the dynamic of your family so I can be prepared and small talk doesn’t have to be a thing!

Let’s Tackle The Hardest Part: Outfits That Feel Cozy, Flow Together & Look Great in Photos

For Your Precious Baby
NEUTRAL, SIMPLE, SOFT
Neutral tones: Soft whites, creams, and neutrals photograph beautifully and keep the focus on your baby’s features.
Simple outfits: A well-fitting onesie or a cozy swaddle allows for natural, timeless images.
Avoid busy patterns: Solid colors help maintain a cohesive and serene aesthetic.

for mom
COMFORTABLE, CONNECTED, SOFT
You get to be in the photos. I take great care to ensure that you are comfortable and able to let go of responsibilities if only for a little while to fully breathe in the magic of our time together!
Comfort is key: Choose an outfit that makes you feel confident and at ease. Flowy dresses or soft knits in neutral tones work wonderfully.
Coordinate, don’t match: Select colors that complement each other without being identical.
Minimal accessories: Keep jewelry simple to maintain the focus on the connection between you and your baby.

For DAD
SOLID, SIMPLE. NEUTRAL
Choose well-fitted pieces: A crisp henley, linen button-down, or knit sweater paired with jeans can look both polished and relaxed—perfect for cuddling your little one.
Skip logos and busy prints: Opt for solid colors or subtle textures to keep the attention on the connection between you and your family.
Stick with simplicity: Neutral shoes (like leather loafers or clean sneakers) or even barefoot indoors helps maintain the cohesive, natural vibe.
