JACKSONVILLE CHILDREN PHOTOGRAPHER

Kids go through so many stages and all of them are passing so fast…

If you have been looking for a children or family photographer, you probably understand that already. In the preparation for children sessions we will be talking about those important-to-you moments and behaviors you would want me to capture.

During 1-2 hours of your children session you won’t see me posing your child in the one place. As your photographer, I will be running beside the kiddos, laughing and splashing in the ocean. You might see me acting foolish for the most part of the time.

Whatever it takes, right? At the end, I always end up with a cute little assistant, who loves to see him or herself in the back of my camera.

To me, being a Jacksonville Children’s Photographer means freezing all those precious moments that their family wants to always remember. Interactions capturing them as they are is the key to my children photography.

I could be photographing them at the beach, park, field, trail or in their own little kingdom, which they call “their room,” that will be up to you. No matter where, authenticity and soulfulness is what I long for in little ones sessions. I am thrilled to be chosen as your Jacksonville Children Photographer.

Quite often that little child of yours will hold my hand as we all leave the session. I guess it’s my momma vibe!

Children lead the way. My sessions are gentle, playful, and paced around your child’s comfort and personality. Whether they’re more reserved and need time to warm up, or they’re a little spark racing ahead of us, we’ll meet them exactly where they are.

We might chase sunlight through a grassy field, build tiny stick forts in your backyard, or twirl barefoot on your living room rug. I’ll quietly guide the moments, then step back and let the magic of childhood take over.

Why Capturing Childhood Memories Matters to Me

Maybe it’s because I grew up with my own pockets full of tiny treasures and valued the little experiences that shape childhood: the smell of fresh baked bread, watching flowers bloom outside the window, sunlight playing on my cheek in a field. I’ve carried that same sense of wonder into how I see the world (and how I photograph it).

I know childhood isn’t just about milestones. It’s about the way their hair curls at the nape of their neck, the toothy grin that might be gone next season, the way their small hand still fits perfectly in yours. These are the details that become priceless memories one day.

Simple, comfortable clothes in soft tones photograph beautifully — think linens, knits, or light cottons. Most importantly, pick something they can move and play in. Bare feet are always welcome.

That’s perfectly okay. I never expect children to perform. Some kids start slow and then blossom, others dash right into play. We go at their pace, always.

Wherever feels most meaningful. That might be your cozy home, a local park, or a little beach adventure at sunrise. I’m happy to help you choose a spot that fits your family best.

Typically 45-60 minutes — just long enough to capture authentic moments without tiring little ones out.

Not in the traditional sense. I’ll give gentle prompts and playful ideas, then capture their natural expressions and interactions as they unfold.
