This little sweetheart was such a fun to photograph! Children Flower Field sessions are always so much blast, but this one gave me a hundred of butterflies. Flower field sessions are just a seasonal thing I do and I sure am behind posting this one, but I just had to share it with you. There was a mixture of silliness, sweetness, child innocents and simple appreciation for what incredible things world has for us. That’s why I love children photography! Her eyes sparkled, her laugh was contagious and her hair flew with wind…
My favorite part of being a family photographer is not only being able to capture those sweet moments for you, but especially to witness all those amazing changes. There really are no words! Last time I saw this sweet family it was during their Newborn Session. It’s truly mindblowing how fast those sweet kiddos grew and how their personalities evolved.
I love watching them playing, giggling and going through all the stages of childhood. I often look at them and smile, because as a mom of two children I often understand it all so well. I also know, that I look back at those times where they were 1… 2… 3 years old, probably until they will be grown-ups, and I want to remember everything even more.
I couldn’t be more grateful to use my talent in such ways and help you freeze time. So glad I could be here to help you capture them!
So this was fun!!! Dark clouds hung above us and soon rain drizzled a little too much, but thankfully we were able to capture it all almost in between the drops. Agree or not but this hammock shot is just SWEET!!!! So much love and carefree laugh! Motherhood is sure not easy and never was but I am so glad I could capture the beautiful essence of it for this mom. She is the rock for those kiddos, and I sure could see how much she means to them!
Being able to use my talent to create images of children and families that reflect their beautiful relations means everything and no words can express how grateful I am for every opportunity to do so. Starting in 2017 I will not only offer my services to close by families in Jacksonville, St. Augustine, Ponte Vedra, Atlantic Beach etc but I’ve decided that I will be occasionally also travel for it.
When capturing families I am looking to get it all: the running, the fuss, the laugh, hug, messy slobber, sometimes even kids not wanting mom+dad to kiss. Hahaha! But guess what? This is what memories are made of and edititng it out will take a piece out of your life, that one day you might want to remember.
So I am allowing it all because there is amazing beauty in those pictures, and those frames are a huge reason why I love family photography.
When I get an occasion to not only travel to meet many wonderful photographers, but also to capture one of them, you know I will be 100% on board! Seattle seems pretty amazing alone, and this, well… that was pretty much a cherry on top! I followed work of this beautiful talented momma Seattle lifestyle photographer for a long time, and I got to say I was really excited to finally meet those 2 ladies in person! Time went so fast, but weather was simply amazing and we enjoyed every minute of it, running, climbing and chassing this little firecracker!
Click Away Conference was happening the day after so I knew I would be able to see her once again, but Oh-My-Goodness! I wish I could freeze time because capturing childhood and motherhood for them was simply great!!
I found a little piece of heaven a little drive from Jacksonville and St. Augustine FL. I heard about http://thompsontherapy.com from many friends of mine who are the biggest animals and horse lovers and when my little girl continued to talk about horses herself for many many months I knew that, that would be a very special gift for her. The look on her face when we suprised her with this gift after a year of planning was simply priceless!! Ashley, founder of the Thompson Therapy had an amazing idea to start a Summer Horse Camp for little ones! Such a beautiful way to teach children compassion, responsibility, awarness of animal’s feelings. Loved how those 5 days were mixed with learning and fun, loved every inch of dirt on her face, messy hair, horse stories and swimming in the lake memories. I know those will be never forgotten! Camp finished not long before school started and I have already been asked to PLEASE sign her up for the next year as her birthday gift that she will have months before. Nothing else is on her list! That sure says something, right?
When another photographer, whose work I follow, asks to shoot her Maternity Session…
IT’S SUCH AN HONOR. It’s simply such an honor for others to put trust in me. I feel this way about every client of mine. There is something even more special, when somebody who understands photography so well and who is so very talented, decides to book a session with me while they are away from home. Floored? Yes, I was floored. Most definitely! I know this lady for quite a long time, through Clickin Moms mostly, but I pretty much follow her work all over social media. So when I learned she was coming to Jacksonville AND booked a session with me, AND I would meet her family and see her beautiful belly, I WAS ALL IN. Head first! Hahaha, not kidding! I have to tell you, I loved their kids! Such fun, sweet kiddos and I think it is fair to say I made friends with them for life. Ok, joking! But we did ended up drinking milkshakes together and eating burgers, so that tells you something… We were hungry. Ha! We wished to have a little more time, but I simply couldn’t wait to get back home and upload those images! This mom was glowing! I gasped pretty much each time I was taking picture of her and wind came to frame…
I feel like I am giving you too many words. Just look, and you will know exactly what I mean.
